After ranking as Prime Video India‘s top show in the country since its September 6 launch, comedy-drama Call Me Bae has been renewed by the streamer for a second season.
Starring Ananya Panday, the Dharmatic Entertainment show has featured among the Top 10 trending titles on Prime Video in more than 50 countries, including the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Prime Video added that Call Me Bae has been watched across 85 percent of India’s pin codes.
The series’ soundtrack has also found popularity, with the song “Vekh Sohneyaa” gaining over 10 million views on YouTube and coming in top on Shazam’s chart in Mumbai and Delhi.

Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur also star in the show.
Call Me Bae is a Dharmatic Entertainment production, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra as executive producers. The series is directed by Collin D’Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra.
