Sonos has unveiled the latest addition to its home audio lineup with the Sonos Arc Ultra, a new version of the acclaimed Sonos Arc soundbar. Alongside the Arc Ultra, Sonos has also introduced the Sub 4, a next-generation subwoofer with deep, distortion-free bass to complement any Sonos setup. As a current Sonos Arc customer, I’m excited to see how they will outshine an already great soundbar with their new Arc Ultra. Sonos’ latest soundbar, the Arc Ultra, is designed to elevate home audio with theater-quality sound. Building on the success of the original Arc, this new model features powerful 9.1.4 audio and advanced components for immersive Dolby Atmos® sound. The Arc Ultra’s sleek, curved profile and matte finish allow it to blend into any setup, while the multiple connectivity options make it easy to control with the Sonos app, Alexa, or a standard TV remote. Built with sustainability in mind, the Arc Ultra features recyclable packaging and materials that reduce idle power consumption. True play support for the new iPhone 16 line up is considered as ‘coming soon’. Sonos also announced a new Sub 4 to accompany the Arc Ultra. It is designed to add powerful, distortion-free bass to any Sonos setup. Featuring dual custom woofers and an improved internal design, the Sub 4 enhances sound depth without any vibration. Once we get our hands on we will be able to give our full review on how it all feels and sounds when paired together. As a fan of the original Sonos Arc, I’m excited about the Arc Ultra’s added spatial audio capabilities and connectivity options. Features like Speech Enhancement and Night Sound suggest a tailored listening experience for every situation, while the new Sub 4 promises deeper bass without distortion. I’m looking forward to testing this new lineup, as it seems poised to redefine home audio enjoyment. The Sonos Arc Ultra is available for $999, and the Sub 4 is priced at $799. For a bundled option, you can save by purchasing both together for $1,618. Available in black and white, these new Sonos products are open for pre-order today, and shipments will begin on October 29.
