MGM believes the world will wait to see the next actor to play James Bond. Prey star Amber Midthunder is joining Monarch: Legacy of Monster‘s second season. During a recent interview with The Guardian, Amazon MGM Studios executive Jennifer Salke stated many “interesting” actors have been suggested to play the next 007, but “the global audience will be patient” before anything is announced. There are a lot of ideas [about potential actors] that have popped up that I thought are interesting. I think there are a lot of different ways we can go. We have a good and close relationship with Eon and Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G. Wilson]. We are not looking to disrupt the way those wonderful films are made. For us, we are taking their lead. The global audience will be patient.
