Amazon Prime Day Big Deal Days end tonight, meaning you’re running out of time to save on some of the best Garmin watches I’ve ever tested as Wearables editor.  My best Garmin watches guide is full of excellent watches that will make you a better athlete, but they cost a lot upfront. Thankfully, I’m seeing some impressive Prime Day 2024 deals on about half of our top picks: the Venu 3S ($50 off), Venu Sq 2 ($100 off), and Epix Gen 2 ($500 off). In Day 1 of Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale, excellent deals on the Forerunner 255 Music, Instinct Crossover Solar, Fenix 7X Solar, and Forerunner 965 have sold out, and certain colors of other deals like the Venu Sq 2 have run out, too. We have no idea how long the remaining deals below will last, but there’s no guarantee they’ll keep until midnight when Prime Day ends, so now’s your chance! See all the Prime Day deals: USA | UK | Canada | India Garmin Vivoactive 5: $299.99 $249.99 at Amazon The Garmin Vivoactive 5 boasts an updated AMOLED display with up to 11 days of battery life and over 30 pre-installed sports and fitness apps. Grab the sleek fitness watch from Amazon and you’ll get a straight 50 bucks dropped off your purchase.  Garmin Venu Sq 2: $249 $149 at Amazon We called the Garmin Venu Sq 2 the “Goldilocks smartwatch” in our review because it bridges the gap between Garmin’s fitness-focused software and a more accessible design for mainstream users. If you’re new to Garmin, this price can’t be beat and you get most of the same perks as the Vivoactive 5 for $100 less, including 11-day battery life and all-systems GNSS tracking. Garmin Forerunner 955: $499.99 $319.99 at Amazon I called the Garmin Forerunner 955 the “best runner’s watch, period” in my review, and while the AMOLED Forerunner 965 supplanted it, you’re getting the exact same software suite and GPS accuracy for hundreds less. Compared to the 255, you get another dozen GPS hours of tracking, Training Readiness data, real-time stamina during runs, full-color topographical maps, and a bunch of extra sports modes. Garmin Epix Gen 2: $899 $399 at Amazon This is probably the best deal of the bunch; aside from the Epix Pro and Fenix 8, you won’t find a higher-end Garmin watch tricked out with so many software features, and those will cost you nearly a grand (or more). This titanium Epix Gen 2 gives you a 16-day battery life, top-class topographical, golf, and ski maps, all of the training tools and hyper-accurate GPS of the Forerunner 955 paired with better extreme sport software, and a more stylish design.  Garmin Forerunner 945: $599.99 $279.99 at Walmart Although it feels a bit dated compared to some 2024 smartwatches, the Forerunner 945 is still an excellent choice for athletes who want super-accurate health metrics and GPS. In fact, when the watch came out back in 2021, our only major complaint was its price. Thanks to this epic $320 discount from Walmart, that’s no longer a problem. Garmin Venu 3S: $449.99 $399.99 at Amazon Garmin is primarily known for producing rugged, wilderness-ready smartwatches, but they also have a few sleek and stylish models, such as the Garmin Venu 3S. Currently $50 off at Amazon, this watch boasts a bright AMOLED touchscreen display, over 30 pre-installed sports modes, and all the health and fitness tracking technology you’d expect from the brand.  Garmin Fenix 7: $649.99 $449.99 at Amazon If you’re okay with skipping the latest Fenix 8, the Fenix 7 will cost you hundreds less for Prime Day while offering most of the same premium software tools, 18-day battery life, multi-system GPS, and a stylish stainless steel bezel. We’re happier to recommend the Epix as a better deal, but this is for those who prefer MIP to AMOLED.
